  • Q: Who is writing this blog?
  • A: My name is Thea Sofie Melberg, I'm 27 and I live in Oslo, Norway. I have recently finished my bachelors degree in Musicology, and as I’m coming to terms with the fact that my glorious student days are over, I spend my time writing about what concerns me the most: music. I also write music reviews for a Norwegian music site called Groove. For those of you who speak Norwegian, you may catch me doing music reviews or talking about whatever happens at the music scene, nationally or internationally at one of Oslo’s local radiostations, RadiOrakel fm 99,3, every Friday between 15-17.

Norwegian readers may also read the articles I'm writing for Femelle.no.

    • Q: When did you start blogging?
    • A: I first started blogging about two years ago, simply because I love to write, and because of my curiosity towards the blogosphere. Through my first blog, Paapp, I started exploring the various issues of pop culture, but it didn’t take long until I realized that I was primarily interested in writing about music. In April 2009 I decided it was time to start up a seperate blog, dedicated to music, which resulted in NordicNoises.com.
    • Q: Okay, but what else do you do?
    • A: I work as well of course. Nowadays I make my money freelancing as a Norwegian teacher for Berlitz.
